Official Pie & Beer Day is one of Utah’s most beloved summer traditions and the nation’s largest assemblage of Pie & Beer. Held each July 24th at Smith’s Ballpark in Salt Lake City, the event brings together thousands of people to celebrate Utah’s incredible baking and brewing culture with  pie tastings, local breweries, live music, community gathering, vendors, and entertainment.

More than just a festival, Pie & Beer Day is also a charitable community event supporting the Ballpark Action Team (BAT), a nonprofit working year-round to celebrate and strengthen one of Salt Lake City’s most historic, vibrant and often overlooked neighborhoods. Pie and Beer Day reflects the spirit of inclusion, local pride, and community connection of the Ballpark community.  Learn more  here.

PIE AND BEER DAY ACTIVITIES

• America 250 Longest Table serving 7,000 slices of pie - one for every ticket holder**
• Kids Zone with games and entertainment**
• Celebrity Kick Ball with Nick Rimando's Mis-Kicks and The Salt Lake City Fire Department's Ash Kickers; 5:30 - 6:30 pm 
• Live music**
• Local Bakers' Market and Beer Bars**
• Pie Eating Contest, Kids at 4:30 pm and Adults at 6:30 pm 
• Amateur Pie Baking Contest, 5 - 6 pm 
• Food trucks and picnicking on the infield**
• VIPP Pass includes exclusive Pie and Beer Pairings, 4 - 6 pm 
• Buy a pie to enjoy at the Liberty Park drone show at 8 pm!

$50 - VIPP ( Very Important Pie Pass) to benefit the Ballpark Action Team

• Annual VIP Pie and Beer Pairing Event to benefit the Ballpark Action Team
• Includes 5 exclusive pie and beer pairings and a commemorative glass
• Young Adults 13 - 20 will need a ticket and will receive 5 pie tasting and a nonalcoholic offering
• Kids under 12 are free with a parent and will receive a ginger ale or root beer
• Includes entry to the general event, and one additional slice of pie

$10 General Admission - advance sale ($15 day of)

• Every ticket includes one slice of pie
• Buy your own beer and additional pie at the Local Bakers' Market and Beer Bars
• Kids 12 and under are FREE, but they must have a Kid Ticket for entry

No Refunds; Tickets can be transferred
Anyone drinking alcohol must be 21+ and show a valid ID. No exceptions

No outside food or beverage. Water in a sealed container is permitted
