Musician and composer Margaret Hermant (Echo Collective), accompanied by her harp, will take her place at the center of the Monochromes installation. Through her presence and playing, she will activate the installation by embodying each monochrome, and exploring their particular experience.

➤ 21:00 – 22:00 : Gnawa live – Maâlem Driss Filali & Koyo de Bxl

Driss Filali is a mâalem, or master gnawa musician, and one of the key artists from the Moroccan diaspora in Brussels. Member of MetX groups like Marockin’ Brass and Banda Quetzal, he is also co-artistic coordinator of the gnawa training program Karkaba.
As the son of mâalem Selam, Driss Filali grows up in Morocco in a community where the gnawa-culture is omnipresent. From an early age, he learns to play music with his father and his nephew, mâalem Hamid. Together they perform at different lilas, traditional gnawa ceremonies, in Morocco and at festivals in France and Belgium.

DiDi (Tropical DJipsies)
Originally from Portugal, DiDi landed in Brussel in 2013 with a full baggage of nightlife events and quickly became very active in the Brussels underground parties. She is a solid member of the Festa Afrotuga, Giraffes & Penguins and of course Illegaal DJipsies events. She’s the co-founder of Tropical DJipsies, a female DJ crew born on the 8/3/2019, inna G&P party. DiDi has played in several festivals like Esperanzah, La Nature, Pukkelpop, Brosella, Dour Camp Fest, La Semo, Jam in Jette and in many events and radio shows, mainly in Belgium and Portugal. Her music selection is eclectic, surprising and full of hot bass from all over the world. Her specialty : late night sweaty dance floor from 130bpm onwards…

Busy bee do-it-all DJ/selector SebCat is behind the Rebel Up collective and record label, co-creator of Festa Afro Tuga and Giraffes & Penguins crews and promoter/curator of countless parties in Brussels and beyond. He hosts several radio shows & sessions on Radio Campus Bruxelles (Nightshop), BRUZZ, and Kiosk Radio, as well as infrequent residencies on We Are Various, East Side Radio and Lusophonica (Lisboa / PT). Since 2018 Rebel Up is a record label that puts a focus on eclectic outernational sounds from far & upclose with 25 releases and counting.
