Please join Kim Casebeer OPA, as she discusses her artistic thought process, why she selects a particular scene, and if necessary, adjusts the scene to support the story.
A sought-after instructor, Kim always reminds her students to ask the question, “What’s the Story?” and why it is so important to know the answer to that question.
Kim is a Master Signature member of the American Women Artists, and a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the Oil Painters of America. She has work in many private, corporate and museum collections throughout the United States.
As part of a fourth-generation farm family, Kim Casebeer OPA has been connected to the land for a long time and loves capturing the simplicity and the story within the landscape. Her work is featured in the Art of the National Parks book co-authored by Susan Hallsten McGarry and Jean Stern, and in Fine Art Tips by Lori McNee. Kim has won numerous awards in national shows, including the Ted Goerschner OPAM Memorial Impressionist Award of Excellence.
