Starting with a toned wash and a paper towel wipe out for placement and then using both a large, coarse and a large, soft brush, she builds a fluid block-in that can guide your painting to a completed piece that holds onto that fresh and painterly look we all love. Along with the narrated demonstration, there will be finished examples that followed this same approach, so you will see how to carry a loose look through to the finish in any subject matter, whether it be still life, figure, or landscape.
