Online training for learning how to facilitate Okaloa Flowlab

Experience and learn about a cool new way to unlock the full potential of people while introducing new ways of working.

Okaloa Flowlab is a new, experiential, way of teaching and coaching agility that involves the entire organisation. In a philosophy of “practice before theory”, it allows participants to experience old and new ways of organising work through simulations. By not being restricted to a particular type of work it speaks to all functions (HR, Marketing, IT, …); by including a whole range of simulations (team, cross-team, value-stream, portfolio, …) it speaks to all levels of the organization.

During this Embank workshop participants will simulate different business scenarios to practice how to organise work at team level. It allows participants to experience the result of resource efficiency and to understand flow efficiency at team level. The outcome in a better understanding about agile practices enabling value creation with collaboration and learning to adapt.

This training sheds a different light on lean agile thinking. In the first place it is targeted at people who are interested in using Okaloa Flowlab during their own training and coaching sessions. It is also directed to any lean agile trainers, coaches and practitioners fascinated in deepening their knowledge about lean agile. The Okaloa Flowlab simulations use Kanban to visualise flow. During real-to-life simulation sessions participants will come across different forms and types of limiting WIP, time-boxing and collaboration policies.

This is a hands-on and interactive course designed to experience and develop mastery over lean agile:

• Learn about the foundations of experiential learning (the training itself is a deep experience in experiential learning).

• Make your (online) training way more interactive and experiential and learn how to use simulations to fundamentally transform your way of teaching

• ​Learn a simulation that deepens your understanding of the foundations of lean and agile methods: Flow - Collaboration - Learning​.

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

• Session 1 : 13 Nov 2024 (2.30 PM - 6.00PM CEST / Brussels time) 
  

• Session 2:  15 Nov 2024 (2.30 PM - 6.00PM CEST / Brussels time) - optional in case you have already experienced the Team Flow simulation

• Session 3: 18 Nov Oct 2024 (2.30 PM - 6.00PM CEST / Brussels time)

• Session 4: 19 Nov 2024 (2.30 PM - 6.00PM CEST / Brussels time)
