We are excited to have you join us as Lt. Ryan Woodard presents "Autism Interactions for First Responders." The hope is by the end of the day you will have a better idea how to take care of and support yourself and your community.

The training will include one 2-hour lecture. Each lecture is worth 2 CLEET mental health and 1 EMS, PRSS, LPC, and/or LMFT continuing education credit. Certificates will be provided for those who need them after the training. Attendance will be taken at the end of the session.

Zoom note: A Zoom link will be sent after registering here. The link will take you to a Zoom registration page to fill out before joining the meeting. All information collected from Ticket Tailor and from Zoom is used only for certification purposes and will not be shared.

10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Autism Interactions for First Responders
 (Lt. Ryan Woodard, EMS instructor with OKC Fire Department)

First responders frequently interact with people on the autism spectrum. This course covers autism basics, how to overcome communication challenges, and real-world examples of positive and negative interactions with autistic individuals.

*Note: This course is worth 1 EMS, PRSS, LPC, and/or LMFT credits and 2 CLEET mental health credits.
