Oja Workshop: Learn to play the Igbo flute

Join us for an interactive Igbo Flute Workshop, celebrating one of West Africa’s most distinctive traditional instruments.

• Introduction: A short talk on the history and cultural significance of the flute in Igbo and wider African traditions.

• Hands-on session: Learn directly from a professional flute player, practise techniques, and play a few simple melodies.

• Free flute included: Take home your own oja.

• Refreshments provided.
