Oaklawn Inn Afternoon Tea

Return to a gentler time as the Oaklawn Inn invites you to a Christmas tea brimming with old-fashioned charm and seasonal splendor.

Celebrate the season with an afternoon of grace, warmth, and holiday cheer at the historic Oaklawn Inn, a beautifully preserved Queen Anne Victorian bed and breakfast. Please note — the Inn is a private residence, not a restaurant. Seating is arranged throughout the Great Room and Parlor, with some guests seated on Victorian chairs and others on comfortable couches. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Inn transforms into a scene of holiday beauty — candlelight, carols, and elegantly set tables inviting guests to linger over tea, conversation, and the flavors of the season, all served on fine china.

This special holiday event is catered by Olde Towne, pairing Oaklawn’s refined charm with thoughtfully prepared seasonal fare. Guests will enjoy a relaxed afternoon tea experience — perfect for friends, mothers and daughters, or anyone seeking a quiet celebration of the season.

The Christmas Afternoon Tea will be held in the Great Room and Parlor of the Oaklawn Inn, featuring six beautifully set tables — three for two guests, two for four guests, and one for eight. Each reservation secures your table for the event; guests will share the space and atmosphere while enjoying individual table service.

Reservations are required to secure your spot at this memorable event. Only guests with pre-reserved tickets will be admitted. Upon arrival, please present your ticket — either printed or on your phone — to our gracious hostess.

You may purchase tickets individually or reserve an entire table.

• Table reservations: If you purchase a full table, it will be held exclusively for you and your group.   For a Table reservation, purchase the tickets and call Oaklawn Inn at 715-235-6155 or email at Info@OaklawnInn.com to reserve a table.

• Individual tickets: If you purchase a single ticket, you’ll be invited to choose a seat at any unreserved table and may be seated with other guests—often a wonderful way to enjoy new conversations and meet new friends.

Menu includes:
An assortment of tea sandwiches, freshly baked holiday breads, petite desserts, and premium hot teas — along with a few seasonal surprises.

Information about the Venue:

The Oaklawn Inn is a historic Bed and Breakfast - Queen Ann Victorian house. Some of the seating in the Great Room and Parlor is on couches and some on Victorian chairs. Seating is available first come first serve. Keep in mind this is an old Victorian house not a restaurant.

Our Olde Towne Chef has prepared a variety of selections for you to experience. There will be no custom menu option to select from.

The Oaklawn Inn is not handicap accessible. There are 5 steps to the front door, and only one bathroom downstairs, which is also not handicap accessible. Due to the number of chairs set up for this event, it may be difficult to maneuver with a wheelchair. If this is a concern, please contact us ahead so we can try to come up with a solution together.

The Tea will be hosted in the Great Room and Parlor of the Oaklawn Inn, with Twenty-two exclusive place settings arranged across six beautifully styled tables. Tables accommodate 2, 4, or 6 guests, creating a warm and intimate setting where you may even make new connections.

Doors open at 2:55 pm. Your ticket must be presented at the door. The tea will be served when everyone is seated. An Afternoon tea can last between 1 to 2 hours. It is meant to be a delightful time to have a conversation.

Parking:
Parking is complimentary and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are four spots at the top of the driveway, two in front of the garage door, and additional parking available in the driveway and parallel parking on Technology Drive. Please do not blocking other vehicles.
