Old Gold Racing Goes Racing: Chepstow 'The Dragonbet Welsh Racing Festival'

This thrilling three-day racing spectacular marks the start of the jump racing season, attracting top-class horses and jockeys thanks to its generous prize funds. Saturday’s highlight includes the prestigious Wasdell Group Silver Trophy, boasting an impressive £75,000 in prize money.

Meet Our Panel
Host: Tom Scudamore - recently retired top-10 all-time jump jockey with over 1,500 career wins.

Fergal O’Brien - leading National Hunt trainer (with our very own John Barbour), fresh off a 140-winner season.

Charlie Longsdon - experienced trainer of over 700 winners, including our very own Stroll On By and Big City Roller.

Billy Aprahamian - exciting young trainer making his mark with our very own Plus Point.

Lilly Pinchin - rising jockey star, who notched her 100th career win aboard our very own Stroll On By.

Ellis Collier - ambitious amateur jockey chasing Welsh National dreams, rider of our club hero Henry Box Brown.

Please Note 

Your digital E-tickets will be emailed to you approximately one week before the event. These must be shown at the main entrance to gain entry to the racecourse. Once inside, please head to the Old Gold Racing Marquee where you’ll be issued a swing badge for marquee access.

Dress Code
