Mouth Painting with Nu Goose

What if painting with your hands wasn’t the only way to make art? What else could different parts of our bodies achieve?

Join artist Nu Goose at Artcore Studios for a playful and experimental workshop exploring the messy, surprising joys of mouth painting. You don’t have to be disabled to take part - this workshop is about trying something different, challenging the way we think about making art, and discovering new possibilities.

The session will begin with a short presentation exploring disability art history and different approaches to using the body as an artistic tool. Nu will then demonstrate how they first learned to mouth paint, before inviting you to have a go yourself.

There will be time for free-flow painting, a short break, and a live demonstration of Nu’s creative process, before everyone creates their own piece on canvas.

Access: Artcore Studios has step-free access, a small accessible toilet at the end of the corridor, and parking available.
