Viridian Strings Musicians

Due to popular demand for this FREE program, we have CHANGED VENUES - PLEASE NOTE that we will host Viridian Strings for the Charted Waters program at the OLIVER ART CENTER, June 20th at 7:00 pm. (Pre-show discussion at 6:10 pm)
THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!

Charted Waters traces the expressive evolution of the string trio, from Classical balance to richly colored 20th-century voices. Taneyev’s sparkling Scherzino opens the program, followed by Jean Cras’s expansive and rhythmically driven trio. The evening culminates with Mozart’s monumental Divertimento, K. 563, a work of remarkable depth, elegance, and conversational brilliance. Please plan to attend our pre-concert talk with the musicians. Thanks to donors like you and a supporting grant from Michigan Humanities, we are able to present this world-class ensemble concert for FREE!. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy live music in this unique setting!

Doors open at 6:00 pm, pre-show talk begins at 6:10 pm, concert begins at 7:00 pm. Refreshments available.
