Every Sunday morning, 11:00 to 13:00.
Learning to throat sing is learning to reuse what is actually an integral part of our vocal instrument. The ability is within us all. We are connecting to what is part of our deeper expressive toolkit. Yet, for most of us, it been eradicated by ‘education’, silenced since we were small. Babies and infants can go loud and glorious(?) for hours on end... as all parents can testify. It is a talent that is quashed and not nurtured. We are taught to be quiet and compliant and later, as we travel our somewhat mute journey we may learn about having 'false vocal folds'... Thankfully the Mongolians and many other cultures around the world are free from our constraint.
It's time to reclaim and liberate our instrument. It can be exercised back into raucous health and expression! This can be a deep and liberating and emotional journey. We are connecting with our full voice. It is a journey into connecting with deeper expression that transcends the constraint of words.
