Summer Open Day

Sun 12 Jul 2026 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM OmVed Gardens, N6 5JF

Come and spend a summer's day at OmVed Gardens — wander the gardens, explore our Artist of the Month exhibition, join a guided garden tour and enjoy something delicious from the kitchen. There's a workshop for kids, seasonal treats and botanical drinks, sculptures to discover, quiet corners to rest in, and a rooftop garden to wander up to. Admission is free, with add on activities.

What's on:

Exhibition: The Earth is a Giant Eardrum
Artist of the Month Arran Gregory's exhibition inside the Barn, with a film-screening throughout the day.

Garden Tour with Tej

11:30–12:15 and 14:00–14:45

Kids' Workshop: Grow Your Own Herbs

A hands-on session for children, learning to propagate rosemary and lavender to pot up and take home. Kids will also design their own plant label and decorate their pot using botanical inks — so every creation is genuinely unique. Booking required.

The OmVed Kitchen

The kitchen team will be serving summer treats and botanical drinks made with garden produce and locally sourced ingredients throughout the day.

Explore at Your Own Pace

The gardens are full of things to discover beyond the programme. A few highlights:
- Sky Garden — Head up the stairs to the left of the Barn entrance to explore the kitchen's rooftop garden.
- Paul Mount Amphitheatre — Home to Abstract Forms, a monumental sculpture by British artist Paul Mount, set in quiet conversation with the landscape around it.
- The Wildflower Meadow - the everchanging meadow is bursting with colour this Summer.
- The Pavilion — Designed by architectural practice selgascano for Chelsea Flower Show 2022, this is a beautiful spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
- Seed Library  — Learn about OmVed's Seed Saving Network.
