Sharing Plates & an Indian Summer
A seasonal supper club with Lucy and Diva

Join Lucy and Diva at OmVed Gardens for an evening that travels through the vast cuisines of the Indian subcontinent, guided by Ayurvedic knowledge and rooted in the garden itself. The meal will include an edible slow wander through the gardens — an invitation to notice how food shapes us: our bodies, our relationships, our communities, and the planet we share. Then, gathered together, you'll share vegetarian dinner inspired by OmVed's produce and landscape. Sharing Plates & An Indian Summer hopes to nourish beyond the palate. We welcome you to share your plates and your evening, with us.

What to expect:

A welcome herbal infusion on arrival
A three-course vegetarian meal shaped by the season with edible wander through the garden
Drinks (wines, beers, botanical drinks and alcohol free) available to purchase throughout the evening
Good company, and a chance to meet like-minded people

Practical notes:
Weather allowing, the evening will take place outdoors, with some floor seating  (chairs available for anyone who needs one) — so please dress comfortably and for the weather. There's a cosy contingency plan should the rain arrive.

Schedule:

6:30pm Arrival (please arrive promptly, as dinner begins once everyone has gathered)
6:45pm Dinner commences
9:00pm Event concludes

Dietaries:
Please note that this meal is vegetarian with vegan options where necessary and determined by our seasonal garden produce, ensuring a delightful surprise each time. Unfortunately, due to our kitchen setup, we are unable to accommodate specific dietary requirements or allergies, acknowledging the possibility of traces and cross-contamination. If you have any other dietary requirements, it won't be possible to cater separately for them.

Maximum Capacity for event: 40
Location for event: Across the garden (weather allowing)
This event is suitable for adults only.

Spaces for this event are limited and in high demand, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible to guarantee your place.

About the hosts

Lucy and Diva's began with an enthusiastically jovial one offering a bowl of pasta to the grumpy and jet-lagged other on Diva’s first night in London, 7 years ago.

That gesture has evolved into a sisterhood, with the home, the hearth, the table, and the garden at the centre of their relationships, sharing food as a vessel of care, love, and creativity.

Their supper club series is a platform for them to share their creative expression, bring awareness to nature's cycles, and highlight the potential of food as a gateway to care for ourselves, each other, and our planet.

While London is home, a place for them to be inspired by the revolving seasons, the world constantly provides inspiration that is dragged back home in very heavy suitcases to an already overzealous apothecary of ingredients.

About the OmVed Kitchen
The OmVed Kitchen is a place to research, learn, teach and share knowledge about sustainable culinary practices, where we transform the food harvested in the garden, connect with chefs and food experts from around the world and learn to fuel our bodies, souls and soils. The kitchen hosts food workshops, supper clubs, partnerships with organisations like the World Food Programme & Chefs Manifesto and a yearly Fermentation Celebration. The kitchen is led by Josephine Marchandise & Georgia Dowling.

Each supper is a multi-sensory journey from seed to plate, shaped by attentive listening to soil, plants, processes, and featuring over 70 varieties of plants. This deeply conscious approach to how food is grown, prepared, and shared invites a slower, more connected way of dining. Watch this behind-the-scenes video to see how we bring hyperlocal, seasonal food to the table.
