Friday Live: Nayar Collective

Fri 2 Oct 2026 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM OmVed Gardens, N6 5JF

Join us for Friday Lates at OmVed Gardens – an enchanting evening where nature meets creativity.  From soulful music to captivating acts, all while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It's the perfect way to unwind, experience the magic of nature by night, and enjoy an evening filled with art, music, and connection

For this event, we will be exploring “Music for a World that Heals” with Nayar Collective

Nayar Collective is borne from the belief in the power of music to offer solace and renewal in a fractured world. Deep, soulful vocals reflect on hope, longing and belonging, woven into a rich tapestry of instrumentation, moving between meditative moments and soaring climaxes.

For this event they will be joined by Ahana. A lifelong solicitant of old wisdoms, her music treads a confluence she finds bewildering; where east meets west, soma seeps through soul, and the mystical mingles in the material.

A non-alcoholic bar will be open throughout the evening serving a range of OmVed Cordials and refreshing botanical drinks. There will be snacks available to purchase.

Schedule

  • 6:30 PM – Doors open | Bar open for Drinks

  • 7:00 PM – Performance starts

Come and be part of a night where art, ecology, and sound converge in our gardens.

This event will take place in the Barn.

This event is suitable for adults and young people aged 16 and over.

About the Artist

Nayar Collective is borne from the belief in the power of music to offer solace and renewal in a fractured world. Founded by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Vedantha Kumar (August and After), their songs embrace the world with compassion, seeing its flaws and finding light within them.

Joined by eminent musicians, including violinist Inês Delgado (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and pianist Oliver Rutherford (Makam Salam), deep, soulful vocals are woven into a rich tapestry of instrumentation, moving between meditative moments and soaring climaxes. Following a run of sold-out shows in enchanting spaces, they have quickly built a reputation for soul-stirring performances where people arrive separately, but leave feeling part of something.

“Nayar has achieved something rare: a song that feels timeless yet fresh, deeply introspective yet universally resonant.” - We Write About Music

The Opening Act will be:

Ahana
With a lifelong affinity for old wisdoms, Ahana is enchanted by things unknowable. UK-born, with roots in India and Portugal, Ahana's music draws from a confluence of genres and cultural traditions. Her debut album 'Soma' is a first glimpse into this dialogue.

If the world leans clutchingly towards conclusion, through her music, Ahana seeks a counterweight, digging her heels into a deep love of mystery. Inviting you to rest with her there, in the unknown.
