CAROLE WISE

Carole Wise began her musical journey early. At the age of 4 she was introduced to music and instruments as the seventh of 8 siblings. Folk, rock ‘n’ roll, blues and jazz were the genres she was drawn to as she listened to and later became a part of her brothers’ garage band. At 8 she literally picked up the guitar while her brothers were at school and innately knew that music would be an integral part of her life. At 17, she began performing professionally in local restaurants, coffeehouses, festivals and weddings. Carole’s musical journey spans 50 years during which she has: played in rock bands, folk trios and chorales, opened for nationally known touring artists, showcased at Womyn Fest and declined two record deals - all while being an educator and caregiving for family. In 2020, Carole co-created a musical, “Surrender Dorothy,” with Michael J Tobin, writing both the music and lyrics. It opened in 2021 to enthusiastic reviews.
She is a self taught multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, a solo artist who plays well with others, returning full time to the national stage. Carole’s latest CD, The Long Way Home, charted in the top 20 on Folk Radio in its debut November 2021. In May of 2022, Carole won the 30th Annual Rose Garden Coffeehouse Performing Songwriter Competition.

TINA ROSS

Tina Ross is a New York based Singer Songwriter who combines her soaring, intimate voice and sonic-scaped guitar playing with songs that are like a timeless painting. A quiet, elegant fierceness runs through her songs, speaking to wonder, humility, doubt, defiance. They are imbued with vulnerability and mastery alike, a testament to giving it one’s very best shot, to paraphrase the title, while we are here. “While I’m Here”, her debut album’s official release is February 17, 2023. She’s been recognized by the UK Songwriting Contest, The International Acoustic Music Awards and The International Blues and Roots Radio Contest as a finalist and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest as an Honorable Mention.

ANNE SANDSTROM

Anne Sandstrom is an inventive singer/songwriter/guitarist who uses poetry, carefully crafted melodies, and open guitar tunings to sing of social justice and personal experience.
