CERAMIC TILE WORKSHOP

Artist Salvador de la Torre will lead a ceramic tile workshop in which participants create and carve hand-built tiles inscribed with words and images rooted in resistance, belonging, and queer solidarity. Drawing from de la Torre's studio practice, the workshop explores the intersections of text, memory, and material as forms of personal and collective expression.

Working through clay as a tactile and time-based medium, participants will consider how language can hold histories of migration, identity, and care, transforming everyday gestures into acts of reflection and solidarity.
