Painting Inktiles - Grand Fair Mini Workshop

ENjoy a creative workshop during your visit to the Grand Fair! Join Astrid Michelson for an inspiring creative experience in the Painting Inktiles workshop. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore the art of painting with fountain pen ink on watercolour paper using the vibrant inks from the whole Shanghai Stationary collection to create intricate designs and beautiful abstract patterns.

Astrid Michelson will offer you expert tips on how to master colour combinations, compositions and different designs. You’ll experience the relaxing effects of painting with inks.

All materials will be provided, allowing you to focus on the creative.

No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a willingness to explore the magic!

Attendees will receive the following items to take home after the workshop:

• A bottle of 10 ml Shanghai Stationary ink (Exclusive Festival On Paper Edition)
• Five sheets A6 artist-quality watercolorpaper
• A high quality brush

This event is limited to 12 spots. Participation is possible from the age of 12, children from 12 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Astrid Michelson is a letter artist from Germany living in The Netherlands. Since her early twenties she’s busy as a creative person with background in architecture, bookbinding and graphic design. Paper, ink and writing instruments of all kinds are the things she’s always attracted to. She had teachers in calligraphy and art for composition, lettering, colour studies and handwriting.
