Join a festive workshop where you’ll create two personalised decorations to brighten your home this holiday season. Each piece features a metal-embossed centre, which you can design yourself or choose from a selection of seasonal motifs provided in the class. You’ll explore cutting, shaping, folding, layering and embossing, assembling your decorations at your own pace with friendly guidance throughout. By the end, you’ll have finished pieces ready to hang and a set of techniques you can easily continue at home.
During the session, the secret free source of the shimmering golden metal will be revealed - a clever trick you’ll want to use again. Whether you’re crafting for your home or making thoughtful gifts, this workshop offers a festive experience full of texture, sparkle and imagination.
Choose between the morning session at 11am or the afternoon session at 2.15pm. Each workshop is 45 minutes, giving you just enough time to create something special during your visit to the Grand Fair.
Guiding the class is local artist and creative facilitator Karen Woodfield. Karen is the creative lead for the National Trust’s monthly Connections Café and works widely across Bath on community‑centred creative projects.
