Beginner Bug Walk at Huron Natural Area, Kitchener

Join the Ontario Nature Youth Council for a youth-friendly, beginner-level bug walk at Huron Natural Area in Kitchener! At this event, you will learn from a member of our Youth Council:

• Basic identification of common Ontario insect and bug species.
• Tips and tricks for safe 'bugging' practices.
• Bug and insect habitats, including wetland ecosystems.

The event will take place at Huron Natural Area in Kitchener (801 Trillium Dr, Kitchener, ON N2R 1K4) from 9:30am-11:30pm. We encourage participants to dress accordingly based on the weather, with comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen and light refreshments will be available.

This is a beginner-level event designed for youth. However, all ages are welcome to attend.
