Somewhere on the dial, a television station nobody can account for is still somehow broadcasting. On that station: a late-night talk show, filmed in a bar on the Danforth, hosted by a man who has never left it.

That man is your host, Pembroke Belafontaine and he has brought his crew of misfit boomers along with him and they are doing their best to be better people, more current, more "woke". Live, in front of your eyes. They aren't always good at it. They are not stopping.

Fictional Cast and Crew and real guests who haven't seen the questions. Live musical guest, the band, Genie. Commercials for shows that don't exist. A co-host with severe trauma and crippling anxiety, a bartender forced into retirement, that has been pouring Pembroke Rye and Gingers since 1994, a stage manager holding the entire operation together with a headset, love and resentment, a Bandleader with more heart than talent and a Gen Z production assistant actively trying to get the whole thing cancelled. You're the studio audience.
