The LCR Data Community is a community of practice launched in 2025 that brings together data professionals from across the city region to share knowledge, tackle common challenges, and develop regional approaches to data and collaboration.

Since our launch in May, we've been building connections across sectors, exploring information governance challenges, and sharing practical tools and techniques.

Join us at DoES Liverpool, a vibrant community makerspace, for our first return to in-person format since the launch event. We’ll explore data topics through small group discussions, connect with fellow data professionals, and share a networking lunch together.

What to expect

  • Networking: Connect face-to-face with data professionals from across the Liverpool City Region
  • Discussions: Join various conversations exploring different data topics in depth
  • Knowledge sharing: Learn from peers' experiences and share your own insights
  • Lunch & refreshments: Food and networking included
The morning will be a mix of group discussions and community development. After networking and introductions, you'll participate in topic-based workshops exploring different aspects of data practice. We'll then come together to discuss what you want from this community going forward, followed by an extended networking lunch.

Whether you're wrestling with technical challenges, exploring governance frameworks, or seeking to build stronger cross-sector collaborations, this session offers practical knowledge sharing with your regional data peers.
