LCR Data Community of Practice - in-person meetup

We're back!

LCR Data Community of Practice kicks off the year with an in-person lunchtime gathering to explore, share and learn.

Following on from our last session where we delved into cross-sector collaboration, hearing about how knowledge, skills and data sharing enable better insights and services, and how to build and manage cross-disciplinary teams, we are coming together in a 'Show and Tell' format where we will have the chance to listen to and discuss developing and ongoing data-related projects in the area.

The 'Show and Tell' consists of six 5-minute talks where presenters introduce people to their work. When the talks finish, people then join tables where the individual presenters dive into more detail and lead a conversation related to their area of interest.

We already have a couple of slots filled, but if you fancy sharing your work with the community and leading a table, please get in touch at julian@lcrdcp.org. The format is flexible so you can do a presentation, talk, demo, or whatever you prefer – just as long as it relates to data practice.

There will also be a chance for community shout-outs at the end of the session, so if you are organising something that might be of interest to the group, please share it then.

Who is the LCR Data Community of Practice?

We are a group of people from across the region's data ecosystem that work in or are interested in working with data. We have quarterly in-person meet-ups around lunchtime with online events in between. Our events are informal, welcoming and free.
