We are refreshing Greater Manchester's Digital Strategy - The GM Digital Blueprint. A big part of this will be thinking about how to support residents to grow the digital skills they need for work. The digital sector is an important part of Greater Manchester's economy, but digital skills are also vital for many different parts of our economy.

This workshop builds upon earlier conversations we have had about the role of digital technology in growing Greater Manchester’s economy. We are particularly interested in how we forecast the skills that Greater Manchester will need, how we support the growth of key ‘non-technical’ skills, and how we can help businesses provide more training placements.

We want to hear from a range of people who can help us understand how to get this right, building upon the work already happening. We look forward to seeing you there.
