OPERA America is holding Professional Development Workshops for BIPOC singers at the National Opera Center on Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24. Discussion topics will include:
- Resumes, Bios, and Headshots: The Dos and Don’ts
- Branding: How and Why
- Management: When to Seek It and How to Get the Most Out of It
- Intimacy Direction: What Is It and Why Does It Matter?
Registration ends September 20 or when spots are filled. The workshop is $25 for OPERA America members and $100 for non-members (includes a one-year membership to OPERA America). The fee includes light refreshments on both days.
*BIPOC people are those who identify as one or more of the following races/ethnicities: Black, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, South Asian, Arab, Middle Eastern, North African, or Native American/Indigenous.
