The Busy Parent Book Club - Raising a Happier Mother
Mon 29 Apr 2024 7:45 PM - 9:00 PM BST
Online, Zoom
Description
Have you got helpful books which sit on the shelf unread? You have the best of intentions, but there never seems to be enough time or energy to sit down and really digest it all.
You know the content could make a real difference to your life, but actually getting it read is easier said than done.
This book club will help you get that book read and feel better equipped to support your child.
When you’re a busy parent it can be hard to find the time and headspace to read any book, let alone one which probably means a lot of thinking about how to apply it, or worse might make you feel guilty about all the things which haven’t gone right.
I get it! I have plenty of books which gather dust BUT I also know how much difference certain books have made to my parenting. This is why I’ve set up The Busy Parent Book Club.
Instead of an expectation to read a book a month you just sign up to:
- Join 3 sessions
- Run over 3 months
- Reading 1 book
This round we will be looking at:
"Raising a Happier Mother" by Anna Mathur.
If you're longing to help your children flourish, but struggling to do what you need for yourself then this a great read. Offering opportunities to reflect on common obstacles parents face and encouraging you to find your own authentic approach this lends itself to great book club conversations.
Sessions run on:
- Monday 29th April - 7:45pm-9pm
- Monday 20th May - 7:45pm-9pm
- Monday 10th June - 7:45pm-9pm
What you need:
- A copy of the book
- A commitment to all 3 sessions
- Access to zoom
The club costs just £9 which is only £3.00 per session.
Who is this book club NOT for?
If you're looking for a book club which is super intellectual and where everyone has it all sorted this isn't for you!
