Trance Choir: a community prayer feedback loop for healing, hope and relaxation.
Trance Choir is a hypno-poetic performance weaving together the collective wishes and dreams written by the audience or community. The performance is a spoken word meets ambient guided meditation and soothing sound shower of positive affirmations, wishes and dreams of a reimagined future.

K(Kristin)Prevallet is a multi-genre poet, performer, writer, and practitioner; she is an elder with the Belladonna Collaborative. Informed by eco, somatic, and trance poetics, her work has been called “divinely radical” in its engagement with language’s medicinal lineages. She is the editor of A Helen Adam Reader and the author of six books including I, Afterlife: Essay in Mourning Time, Everywhere Here and in Brooklyn (A Four Quartets), Trance Poetics, and Of Hours&Making: An Oracular Time Care System. Shauna Cummins is a certified Clinical Hypnosis Instructor with a private practice in New York, author of Wishcraft, A guide to manifesting a positive future (2021). She is a multidisciplinary artist, founder of Divine Feminine School of Hypnosis and MindMassageHotline. Her work seeks to explore hypnosis as a valuable tool for self-healing, a powerful method for creating, and an independent art form. As a self-proclaimed Hypno-artist her offerings range from inspired performances, special ceremonies, sound installations, workshops, trainings and deep listening experiences. She has been featured internationally at The National Gallery of Denmark, The Center for Contemporary Art Glasgow, Borealis Music Festival, and in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Business Insider, The Independent, Refinery 29, YAHOO News and The Chronogram.
