'The Kingdom in stories and memories: Celebrating oral history collections at the Kerry Writers’ Museum.'

“Gaze through the windows of wonder and journey deep into the landscape, history and folklore that inspired our writers.”

This year’s OHNI Annual Meeting closing panel will be ‘The Kingdom in Stories and memories: Celebrating oral history collections at the Kerry Writers’ Museum,’ which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. This final presentation will be FREE and open to all members of the public but registration is requested in advance.

Marking its 25th anniversary this year, Kerry Writers’ Museum is dedicated to celebrating the richness of story in Co. Kerry, through the spoken word, literature, theatre and performance.

Its archive contains some important oral history recordings on the literature and theatre of the county, which is of local, national and international acclaim.

The panel of Dr. Fiona Brennan and  Cara Trant, (Executive Director, Kerry Writers’ Museum), will share the history of the museum, its collections and how the oral and the archival intertwine to tell its stories and histories.

This FREE ticket is entry to this final panel only and open to all.
