The Orange Collective peer support sessions provide a space for anyone interested in, or already using the arts to support peoples' wellbeing.
In this workshop Blair will create a therapeutic reflective practice space whilst guiding you and supporting through his Chaos to Calm workshop. Towards the end of the workshop participants will support each other and Blair by taking part and reflecting back their experience of the workshop.
Blair describes his workshop here:
There is nothing to bring and nothing to take away. Creating mandala designs around tree trunks or any designs on forest floor using found objects from the forest/woodland , eg sticks , stones , leaves etc etc , also mark making in the earth .We aim to not harm any living things in the process .
- A strong emphasis on play for plays sake , focus on the process not the outcome.
- Participation will allow for a sense of calm leading to wellbeing Improved mental health
- A meditative experience Improved focus
- A connection with self and others through nature in a creative way .
We will send more details a few days before the workshop but in the meantime if you have any questions please get in touch: contact@orangecollective.co.uk
