We have received funding by means of sponsorship, including from pharmaceutical companies, to support the delivery of our conference. The sponsoring companies are Nova Biomedical, Roche Diagnostics, mylife Diabetes Care Ltd and Sanofi. Our sponsors have had no editorial input or control over the agenda, content development or choice of speakers, nor opportunity to influence except for the sponsored symposia presentations.

The conference will highlight the latest innovations, research and developments in inpatient diabetes care, providing delegates with valuable insights into best practice and emerging trends.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to develop and deliver accredited inpatient diabetes services, apply the latest guidelines in clinical practice and better manage the complex challenges associated with treating people living with diabetes in hospital environments.

With expert speakers and a forward-looking programme, the conference is expected to play a key role in shaping the future of inpatient diabetes care in the UK and beyond.

In a new development for 2026, the event will be preceded by the inaugural launch meeting of the Diabetes Inpatient Study Group (DISG), a newly formed reference group of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). This is a small, closed meeting taking place on the evening of Thursday 2 July in Leicester.

If places become available for this, JBDS delegates who are interested in contributing will be informed. Please register your interest for this meeting here.
