Introduction to Herbal Balms
Join us for a hands-on introduction to herbal balms. This gentle, beginner-friendly workshop is for people with very little or no experience with herbs or balm making.
Please note: To help create space for those currently underrepresented in horticulture and herbal education this event is for people who identify as Black, Brown, Person of Colour or Global Majority.
Together we'll explore three herbs traditionally used in herbal medicine: calendula, lavender and plantain sharing knowledge, conversation and then creating our own skin healing herbal balm to take home.
Arrival: 10:45am
Workshop: 11:00am-3:00pm
The day includes a one-hour lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Please bring your own lunch. Tea and water will be provided.
