Our Monthly Loom Hire is available to those who have been through our Introduction to Weaving Course. To discuss this option, please email loomroomorkney@gmail.com

Our loom hire includes:

• Access to our 4 shaft and 8 shaft table or floor looms, including 8 shaft Harris table looms, 8 shaft Louet floor loom, 8 shaft Toijala loom, 4 shaft Ashford, Hawkhurst and Weavemaster looms.
• Your own set of weaving equipment: boat shuttle, pirns, heddle hook, sley hook, scissors and temple
• 24 hour access to our weaving studio, with your own key
• Use of our vast array of 8/2 Shetland wool, tapestry wools and hand dyed yarns, available at £3 per 100g
• Access to our warping boards and warping mill
• Access to our sample, four shaft table looms
• Your own trolley for storing tools and equipment
• Use of our pirn winder, ball winder and swift
• Working in a beautiful studio environment, with other like minded students
• Access to our kitchen facilities, including the kettle and fridge

The loom hire excludes the cost yarn and tuition. Yarn can be purchased for £3.00 per 100g. Tuition is available at £15 per 2 hours.
