COMBO Level I & II Seminar – Stow, OH – October 2026

Level I Summary
Doctors/students are introduced to the X-ray portion of the Grostic procedure for correcting the atlas subluxation. Enrollment includes the following items (~$145 value).

- Orthospinology Protractor

- Atlas Key Chain
Seminar Content for Level I
- Basic knowledge of the orthogonal chiropractic module and the history of Orthospinology
- X-ray set-up for lateral, nasium, and vertex radiographic views
- X-ray set-up for difficult cases such as torticollis, obese patients etc.
- X-ray analysis for lateral, nasium and vertex views using the Viztek software
- Personal Laptops are REQUIRED, Bluetooth mouse is highly recommended
- Pathological considerations to look for on x-ray analysis
- Basic understanding of the Viztek numbers
- Understanding of how a listing is created
- Demonstration of what will be expected of them on the Advanced Graduate Exam
Goals of this seminar:
At the end of this seminar each participant should be able to demonstrate proper x-ray set-up and analysis. In addition, each participant should be able to adequately assess each view for errors and pathology. Lastly, each student should have a basic understanding of the orthogonal chiropractic module and the history of Orthospinology.
Level II Summary
A review of the X-ray procedures presented in the Level I class, followed by an introduction to the supine leg check, instrumentation, table placement, and instrument adjusting. Note that successful completion of the Level I seminar is a pre-requisite for attending Level II.

- How to interpret paraspinal thermography
- How to perform a proper Orthospinology Leg Check
- How to perform a leg lift check
- How to check for pathological lumbar erector spinae
- Use of Scanning palpation
- Use of Hip Calipers
- How to posture screen
- Head and table placement
- How to use the Resultant Line Locator
- How to locate the contact
- Stylus reasoning and selection
Goals of this seminar:
At the end of this seminar each participant should be able to perform and demonstrate proper scanning palpation, use of hip calipers, a lumbar erector spinae check, a leg lift check, a Orthospinology leg check, paraspinal thermography scan and postural analysis of a patient. From these previously mentioned steps each participant should be able to understand when and when not a patient needs an upper cervical adjustment. Upon determination that a patient needs an upper cervical adjustment, each participant should be able to demonstrate how to set a patient up based on their x-ray. As a result, they will be able to demonstrate proper table placement, use of the Resultant Line Locator, an ability to locate the transverse process of the atlas and select the appropriate stylus for the KH2.

- Registration for non-members is $1,140
- Registration for VIP members is $900
- Professional courtesy adjustments and post x-rays are offered for an additional $150.
- Successful completion of the Level I seminar is a pre-requisite for attending Level II.

Remember to bring your book! Everyone will need a copy (either digital or paper) of Orthospinology Procedures: An Evidence-Based Approach to Spinal Care during the Level I, Level II, and Advanced seminars. You should have acquired this book when you took the Level I seminar.
Personal Laptops and charge cords are REQUIRED, Bluetooth mouse is highly recommended.
Bring any upper cervical orthogonal film of yourself on USB drive that you may have.
