Level II Summary

A review of the X-ray procedures presented in the Level I class, followed by an introduction to the supine leg check, instrumentation, table placement, and hand adjusting. Note that successful completion of the Level I seminar is a pre-requisite for attending Level II.

Goals of this seminar:

At the end of this seminar, each participant should be able to perform and demonstrate a thorough Orthospinology exam. Each participant should be able to understand when a patient does and does not need an upper cervical adjustment. Upon determination that a patient needs an upper cervical adjustment, each participant should be able to demonstrate how to position a patient for an adjustment based on the patient’s x-rays. As a result, they will be able to demonstrate proper table placement, use of the resultant line locator, and an ability to locate the transverse process of the atlas. Students will also be able to appropriately demonstrate doctor positioning and the correct application of an Orthospinology hand adjustment.

• Student and faculty registration is $395 ($370 with early registration). Please be prepared to show your student or faculty ID when you arrive at the seminar.

• Professional courtesy adjustments and post x-rays are offered for an additional $150.

• Successful completion of the Level I seminar is a pre-requisite for attending Level II.

Additional Information:

Remember to bring your book! Everyone will need a copy (either digital or paper) of Orthospinology Procedures: An Evidence-Based Approach to Spinal Care during the Level I, Level II, and Advanced seminars. You should have acquired this book when you took the Level I seminar.

Bring any upper cervical orthogonal film of yourself on USB drive that you may have.
