Ortús Festival Saturday Evening Concert

Join us for an evening concert at the Curtis Auditorium of the MTU Cork School of Music featuring the fabulous Marmen Quartet performing the Irish premiere of Adams’ “Devotions” alongside celebrated percussionist DOMNIQ. Swedish violinist Johannes Marmén and Kiwi violist will join forces with  internationally acclaimed Irish pianist Barry Douglas to perform well loved works by Schumann and Franck.  You will also have the rare opportunity to hear a Vivaldi Concerto for Viola d’Amore and strings performed by Garth Knox with the Ortús Festival Strings, featuring some of the top students from the MTU Cork School of Music in collaboration with festival artists.
