Sky Full of Stars

Get transported to a starlit world filled with twinkly bright skies and wonder beyond planet Earth at Oshawa Centre's all-new immersive, planetarium experience, A Sky Full of Stars. From November 29th to December 24th, you can fill our sky full of stars with your very own personalized star with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Lakeridge Health Foundation’s Our Cancer Campaign.

Each donation lights up the sky by triggering the explosion of a brand-new star. Guests then set off through the galaxy tunnel of lights to spot the moon, planets, rockets, and their newly added star, personalized with their name or the name of a loved one they donated on behalf of. The star is placed randomly in the sky and will remain in the same spot for the entire month. As more donations are made, more stars appear to fill the sky for everyone to enjoy.

Upon leaving the tunnel, guests will receive 2 Star Wish bracelets. 1 to keep and the other to place on the ‘Wall of Wishes’ displayed outside the planetarium. Bracelets hung up on the 'Wall of Wishes' will be donated to patients of Lakeridge Health.

In 2019, the Oshawa Centre raised $10,000 for Lakeridge Health with a Light Up the Sky and we hope the community joins us once again, as we continue to raise well needed funds.

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?
A: Yes. To receive a full refund, you must cancel no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
Please allow up to 7-10 business days for your refund to be applied.

Q: When should I arrive for my reservation?
A: Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes in advance of your time as the experience starts right at your reservation time.

Q. What is the policy due to inclement weather?
A. In the event the shopping centre must close due to inclement weather, all bookings for that day will be refunded.

Q. Will I have to fill out a waiver?
A. Prior to entering the experience everyone will be asked to fill out a waiver.
No food or drink permitted inside the experience.
