Adapted from S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film, this thrilling musical is directed by Tony Award winner Danya Taymor, a Palo Alto native. Original songs by Justin Levine and folk duo Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance); book by Adam Rapp.

The Outsiders is a story of friendship, family, belonging…and the realization that there is still "lots of good in the world." In Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1967, two teenage gangs sustain a rivalry: the well-to-do Socs (short for "socials") and the ne'er-do-well Greasers. The Outsiders navigates the complexities of self-discovery as the Greasers dream about who they want to become in a world that may never accept them.
