Ossory Forest School's Fully-immersive Outdoor August Camp

August 20th and 21st, 2026

Who: For Children aged 5 - 12 years old

When: 2-day Forest School Camp - 20th and 21st August 

August 20th and 21st From 10.30am - 1.30 pm. 

Where:- Durrow woods, Co. Laois.

Please note - no fire on this shorter camp: There is no fire making in this camp as we are not able to make a fire in the woods - apologies.

Cost: 60 Euro (sibling discount available)

Time away from screens! - Feed and nourish the senses - Connect with nature - Make new friends!

Outdoor games, Crafts, woodland art, building shelters, using tools, music, storytelling, free-play, relaxation time, lunch outdoors, some healthy treats and foraging - learning about our woodland and hedgerows in Laois.

What to bring? Please ensure your child has waterproof gear (including waterproof trousers, ideally), waterproof footwear, layers such as t-shirt, long-sleeved top, jumper / fleece and jacket. They will need a packed lunch and water. If your child requires any medication (inhaler / epi-pen), please provide instructions and medication in their backpack and inform us on the first morning of exactly where the medication is. Please note - Cancellation Policy: Cancellations up to one week before the event = full refund. Cancellations up to 24 hours before the event will receive a partial refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the event are non-refundable.
