First Samhain Hallowe'en Camp!

Who: For Children aged 5 - 12 years old

When: 3-day Forest School Camp - October 28th, October 29th and October 30th, 2026

10:30 - 1:30pm

Where:- Meet at Caponnellan Forest Carpark, Durrow woods, Co. Laois.

Please note -  we may move to an open field for the third day of camp in Rathdowney in order to play Samhain games and have a campfire / cook and enjoy Samhain treats. Details in whatsapp group closer to the time. To be confirmed pending site availability - Thank you.

Cost: 90 Euro (sibling discount available)

Outdoor games, Crafts, woodland art, building shelters, using tools, music, storytelling, free-play, relaxation time, lunch outdoors, some healthy treats and foraging - learning about our woodland and hedgerows in Laois.

What to bring? Please ensure your child has waterproof gear (including waterproof trousers, ideally), waterproof footwear, layers such as t-shirt, long-sleeved top, jumper / fleece and jacket. They will need a packed lunch and water. If your child requires any medication (inhaler / epi-pen), please provide instructions and medication in their backpack and inform us on the first morning of exactly where the medication is. Thank you for your co-operation.

Please note - Cancellation Policy: Cancellations up to one week before the event = full refund. Cancellations up to 24 hours before the event will receive a partial refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the event are non-refundable.
