OCC Paediatric Foundations: Mentoring Programme
Deepen your understanding of paediatric practice
Our mentoring programme provides qualified osteopaths with an experiential introduction to the clinical reality of paediatric practice. The programme is based in our open-plan teaching clinic, where you will have the opportunity to observe trainee paediatric osteopaths and our experienced teaching faculty working collaboratively to provide care to a diverse group of patients.
Who is the mentoring programme for?
If you are completely new to paediatrics, or unsure if you’re ready to embark on one of our flagship clinical training programmes, the mentoring programme can help you bridge the gap. It’s open to all qualified osteopaths, whatever their level of paediatric knowledge and experience.
What’s involved?
Six weekly sessions observing in the OCC teaching clinic will help you build a deeper understanding of paediatric osteopathy. Two mentoring sessions with our experienced faculty will support you to reflect on your own practice and make a personal development plan that can take you to the next level.
