Course Content: This half-day CPD session will explore how the autonomic and immune systems are formed, how they develop over time, and how they interact with one another. We will review key developmental windows and the effects of external and intrinsic influences on early childhood health. Practical components will focus on applied approaches, exploring how we can actively support balance within these systems and promote health in young children.

Julia Finlay, M.Sc B.Ost
Julia Finlay specialises in the osteopathic treatment of babies and children and is a Consultant at the Osteopathic Centre for Children. She has taught cranial and paediatric osteopathy over some years in the UK and internationally. She is interested in exploring with others how osteopathy can play a unique role in supporting foundational health for life in the young.
