Queer Storytelling Workshop – Ottawa StoryTellers

This interactive in-person workshop, hosted by Ottawa StoryTellers and facilitated by Carmen Teeple Hopkins and Marie Robertson, will explore the role of personal storytelling within queer communities and provide participants with practical tools for developing and sharing their own stories.

Grounded in an understanding of storytelling as a practice of community, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of personal storytelling, using discussions, examples, and engaging exercises. The event is intended for individuals interested in storytelling for personal expression, community engagement, advocacy, or public speaking, regardless of previous experience.
