Lamb Feeding (open to all)
Lamb Feeding is one of the highlights of the farm calendar and we're delighted to be bringing it back this year. Our lambs need feeding about five times a day and you can help bottle feed them.
Lamb feeding is suitable for children to do on their own if they are age 5+. Younger children can get knocked over by the lambs. Please be aware, each child who will be attending needs their own ticket. If you have a child younger than five, please buy a ticket for yourself and your child so that you can accompany them into the lamb pen.
Please note that this event involves close contact with lambs. If you have an allergy to wool, lanolin, hay or straw, or you are pregnant, please do not attend.
Please be aware that visiting Ouseburn Farm and coming into contact with animals comes with some potential risk. To ensure this risk is minimised, always thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water after visiting the farm and/or before you eat or drink anything. Never eat or drink anything whilst on the farmyard. If you are supervising children or vulnerable adults at the farm please ensure they also follow these rules. If you or anyone in your group feels unwell after visiting the farm, please seek medical assistance.
We can offer a refund for an event if we receive at least three working days notice (email admin@ouseburnfarm.org.uk/ call 0191 232 3698), so we have the opportunity to re-sell the tickets. As a charity, we cannot offer refunds or reschedules for no-shows.
