What's inside the bag?:

  • 🧘 Nervous system regulation β€” different ways to notice when you're dysregulated and bring yourself back with 3 simple techniques
  • πŸ”„ Metaphors and reframes that give you new ways to think about old problems
  • πŸ› οΈ Practical, repeatable tools you can use solo, anytime, anywhere
  • 🎁 A Handout with powerful coaching questions for self enquiry

A mix of education, individual practice and small-group exploration.

By the end, you won't just have a bag of techniques β€” you'll have started building the most useful skill of all: becoming your own coach. Someone who can notice, pause, and choose a tool, whenever you need to.

All techniques are user friendly, tried, tested, and approved by certified experts!

The session itself will give you a moment to step out, reconnect and refresh.

Bettina is a Coach and Consultant in the creative industry.

She started her company ArtsAgenda in 2004 (closed after 18 years), working as a creative producer for outdoor arts and site-specific theatre companies. Within a short time, the organisation built a strong reputation for exquisite, world touring and large-scale projects with brilliant artists (dreamthinkspeak, Rotozaza, Hydrocracker, Groupe Zur, Lola Muance, Jony Easterby), and developing artistic programmes for festivals (Derby FestΓ©, Enchanted Parks in Newcastle Gateshead) and large scale events (GamesTime & Northala for the Cultural Olympiad 2012).

Sector wide Bettina is a trusted professional, who has worked with many key organisations (LIFT, Arts Council England, xtrax, Stockton Riverside Festival, National Theatre, amongst many) she was interim Director at Outdoor Arts UK and has facilitated workshops at network organisations and conferences in the UK and Europe, including shaping and facilitation for Cultural Bridge. She is Production Coordinator for caravan assembly as part of Brighton Festival working for Farnham Maltings.

Over 15 years ago Bettina qualified as a coach and has since developed her way of supporting the creative sector through 1 on 1 coaching, business coaching and designing & delivering leadership programmes such as the annual TOOLBOX Residency (in its 7 year) and Jerwood Artists Support Programme with 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Centre and Sura Medura, an international artist residency in Sri Lanka in collaboration with UZ Arts and a consortium of UK festivals.

She qualified as a Therapeutic Coach in 2024, which gives her additional skills in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neurolinguistic Programming, and many tools that incorporate nervous system regulation as a key to managing anxiety and overwhelm to undertake the deeper psychological work.

Bettina is a strong advocate of the fantastic tools coaching can offer to enhance resilience, and in turn the sustainability of a career in the arts. Her approach and facilitation skills alongside a powerful and creative way to unlock a different kind of thinking, have been applied in a broad range of projects, meetings, conferences, residencies, wellbeing learning programmes and organisational board development.
