Out of the City — The Dinedor Walk

Step out of the city and straight into the Herefordshire countryside on this guided walk from Hereford Cathedral to the summit of Dinedor Hill.

Within minutes of leaving the city centre, you'll find yourself on quiet paths through riverside meadows, climbing through woodland before reaching the hilltop — with views stretching across Herefordshire.

We stop for a picnic lunch at the top, before we make our way back.

This is a proper walk — 8 miles, with some elevation — so you'll want comfortable boots and a reasonable level of fitness. But the pace is relaxed and the route is rewarding every step of the way.

Led by a qualified Lowland Leader with knowledge and passion for the local area.

We'll meet and start outside Hereford Cathedral and return in the afternoon.
