First Aid at Work: Refresher/Blended (inc + Forestry)
The WorkSafe First Aid at Work course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive for first aiders working in medium and high risk environments. This qualification will equip the first aider with skills to be able to confidently undertake emergency first aid if someone becomes ill or injured at work, and provide effective care for a wide range of common workplace injuries and illnesses, with the Forestry add-on covering specific additional subjects relevant to a forestry environment.
This course offers the 'blended' option of 6hrs of online learning ahead of the 12hrs instructor-led sessions, as well as the 12hrs 'refresher' option which is available for anyone with a current 18hrs First Aid at Work certificate. Forestry participants should add 1hr to day one.
If you require an 18hrs instructor-led First Aid at Work course, or would like any of our other first aid courses to be delivered at your venue, please get in touch for a quote. A list of all our first aid courses (inc Manual Handling) can be found on our website.

Important Course Information:
To be more environmentally friendly, Worksafe first aid courses are now digital. We will have reference books available, and all the course material, can be found on the Worksafe website. The webpage also includes a link to the WorkSafe App which enables you to view your certificate on your phone etc, and also provides access to first aid knowledge, videos and emergency procedures. Full information on how to use it can be found here, although our instructor will run through everything on the day and you will receive a PDF copy of your certificate after the course.
There will be a large element of scenario practising, so please make sure you are dressed in comfortable clothing and footwear. There is a cafe available at Moray Sports Centre (which can be quite busy at times), but you are also welcome to bring your own lunch, water and snacks for the day if preferred (or if you have any specific dietary requirements).
You will be paired up for the practice scenarios, so if you know someone else who may benefit from this course, why not let them know so you can buddy up!
