SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE: 'ALIVE' event

One of Outfit Moray's core values is to 'Live the Spirit of Adventure', something our team embrace whilst working with young people and famililes across Moray.

This 'ALIVE' evening is about how we extend that spirit of adventure regardless of our circumstances: how can we stay vital and healthy throughout our life, supporting our healthspan and ability to enjoy life right through until the day we stop breathing!  

What if adventure is one of the things that keeps us young? 
What kind of adventure might you invite your body to take?

Be inspired by some short films about super-agers who have found ways to keep going:-

• Against the Clock - 88 year-old Caithness cyclist Alasdair Washington on why he continues cycling & competing
• Meet a 91 year old and discover the simple routine behind his 'insane' longevity. 
• Journey to Mongolia with Paralympic adventurer Karen Darke MBE and hear the story of  a diverse group of women - including an Afghan refugee - about their crossing of a frozen lake, moving and connecting as they explore freedom and dig deep to stay well in minus 45 celcius!
• Films by Cinematiq / John Baikie film-maker from Caithness

Time: 7.30pm to 9pm (doors open 7.15pm)

There will also be a raffle on the night with all proceeds from the evening supporting our delivery of outdoor learning and adventure opportunities for young people and their families in Moray.
