The Overland Gathering

An opportunity to gather the Overland Community for companionship, sightseeing, motorcycle riding and some excellent food!

We've teamed up with Matt and Reece, AKA The Sidecar Guys, to create a gathering of like-minded travelling souls, and you can come too!

Based around their new business venture, the fabulous Drift Cafe at Cresswell near Morpeth, this weekend is all about chilling, and enjoying fine food! We'll highlight the opportunities for sightseeing and fabulous riding in the area (on road and trails, guided or not), as well as the rich history and natural beauty of the North East, so you can make your own day's entertainment. Or you might choose to just hang out on site and natter about your last trip with friends old and new, whilst eating yourself silly.

In the evenings, we'll come back together for good food and fine Overland Ales, and compare notes on the day.

Your Event Passport includes:

• 3 nights' camping
• a hot meal on arrival Thursday: Northumberland Venison Stew served with mash and greens (veggie option too)
• a veritable banquet of local produce on Saturday evening​

• information pack including stunning routes (on and off-road),

Saturday evening's Farm to Fork Feast in the Motofreight Banqueting Marquee:

• 3 course dinner served banquet style on big beer tables
• Kicking off with a starter of homebaked breads, olives, dips etc.
• Trio of meats all locally sourced in Northumberland including cider braised gammon, roast lamb and smokey pulled beef brisket, served with a range of hearty sides including bubble and squeak, roasties, roasted veg, cauliflower cheese etc.
• Pudding will then be traditional and heart-warming, with a choice of crumble or sticky toffee pudding
• (And of course a veggie option will be available)
