The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company (OVFC) has provided fire, rescue, and Basic Life Support Emergency Services to residents in a 25 square mile area for over 85 years. Our active volunteer members are encouraged to serve their duty at the fire station in eight hour shifts including overnight stays. The Company sponsors several fundraising events such as mail out drive, photo fundraisers, carnival, Bull and Oyster Roasts, Crab Feasts, and Food Truck Thursday’s to offset the expenses of maintaining our apparatus and facilities.

Interested in helping with medical calls but not fight fires, you can do that.
Want to help with fires, vehicular accidents or other rescue events you can do that, too.

All training is free including Firefighter and EMS.
