OWASP Ottawa Day - A Working Introduction to OSINT Workshop

University of Ottawa: STEM 564

A Working Introduction to OSINT is a practical, hands-on introduction to open-source intelligence: finding, verifying and analysing publicly available information. This workshop introduces essential tools and techniques for researching people, organisations and online activity. Through guided exercises, you’ll learn to assess sources, connect findings and document your research, with an emphasis on responsible use.

No prior OSINT experience is required.

Requirements:

• a laptop with WIFI
• a browser

Workshop Pre-requisits

For this workshop you need to bring a laptop and its power cable and you laptop must have a functioning browser.
